The product is well designed. I am only giving this four stars because I had to replace the brass connector to get it to stop leaking. For the price, I would expect the included hardware to work.

The concept is fantastic. The execution seems to be as well. There is a brass female to female connector that claims to only need hand tightening. I was afraid to use any tools to tighten it, but I had to to prevent it from leaking. I’ve had zero issues outside of that and am thankful that I no longer have to fill a five gallon bucket twice a week and change the ice bottles every day.

This is my third chicken fountain that I have bought and I do believe it is the best ever… Such a life changing thing for me to be able to just know my chickens will be watered no matter how long I’m away from the home or the farm

Unfortunately, I waited to open the package because it was for my husband‘s birthday, which is today, July 15. When he opened it, the chicken fountain had a piece that is broken on it. I’ve sent a separate email asking what to do next.

Seems sturdy. Birds learned very quickly how to operate the valves. Time will tell on durability. You do have the option to “winterize” it which was a big factor in the purchase. Water seems to stay clean.

Works great. It only took an afternoon to get my chickens using it. The rubber band on the nozzle definitely helped. The only down side I can see is the water holding in the tank gets warm since it is not moving regularly.

A bit small. I had the original chicken watered about 10 years or so ago and loved it. It was accidentally broken (to my dismay).
My chickens haven’t taken to it yet.

I worked in the poultry industry for 45 years and am currently retired. I’m very familiar with commercial watering systems. This water system works equally well on my hobby flock.

Love it! Now I have water always available in their yard and a bucket supply in their enclosed coop area. They were running out of water in 5 days with the hotter dryer weather. Now I don’t worry that they run out before I do chicken chores on the weekend. Thank you
